An initial article inspection report (IIMR) documents that a component has been manufactured according to the required specifications. This option is particularly suitable for quality-critical components, series production launches, new supply chains, or internal approval processes.

The EMPB includes a component description, a premium measurement report with CMM or KMM testing for up to 5 parts, a material certificate and, if agreed, documentation of the relevant manufacturing processes.

The EMPB thus supports a structured technical release of milled parts, turned parts and other components from CNC machining.

The premium inspection report is the ideal option when precise component characteristics need to be documented metrologically. As part of our premium quality assurance service, your CNC milled or CNC turned parts are inspected using modern, calibrated measuring and testing equipment. For suitable geometries, this also includes coordinate measuring technology (CMM).

The test results are documented in a signed test report. Please indicate the relevant test features in the technical drawing. If no specific information is provided, we will inspect all explicitly toleranced dimensions, fits, and form and position tolerances. Threads and fits will be checked with suitable gauges where possible.

The premium test report includes measurements on up to 5 components. Different sample sizes can be specified in the “Manufacturing Notes” field.

The factory certificate according to DIN EN 10204 type 2.1 is a manufacturer’s declaration. It confirms that the delivered components comply with the agreed specifications.

Individual testing of the delivered components is not part of this certificate. The 2.1 factory certificate is suitable for orders requiring formal confirmation of conformity, but where batch-specific test results are not necessary.

The factory certificate according to DIN EN 10204 type 2.2 also confirms that the delivered components meet the agreed specifications. In addition, it contains non-batch-specific test values, which may, for example, originate from similar production batches or internal tests.

This option is useful if, in addition to the declaration of conformity, supplementary test values ​​are required, but a specific test certificate for the actual delivered batch is not necessary.

The material verification serves to document the material used. Depending on availability, it includes a test certificate according to EN 10204 type 3.1 or a material data sheet, supplemented by a spectral analysis of the chemical composition of the delivered batch.

This option is particularly relevant when material traceability, material conformity, or internal quality requirements need to be documented. Especially for technical milled and turned parts, material verification is an important component of the order documentation.

In materials testing, the chemical analysis of the delivered batch of material is carried out by an independent and accredited testing laboratory, for example by TÜV or SGS.

Mechanical testing is available upon request. This option is suitable for applications with increased requirements for material conformity, component safety, or external verification obligations.

The roughness measurement report documents defined surface roughness values ​​on the manufactured components. Up to 5 roughness values ​​can be specified.

Please mark the exact measuring points in the technical drawing. This ensures that the inspection is carried out on the functionally relevant surfaces. Different sample sizes can be specified in the “Notes for Manufacturing” field.

This option is particularly relevant for CNC milled and turned parts with sealing surfaces, sliding surfaces, mating surfaces or visually demanding surfaces.

The post-heat treatment protocol documents the steps performed during the heat treatment process. The report is prepared by the post-treatment operator and contains detailed documentation of the relevant process steps.

This option is suitable for components where heat treatment, microstructure properties or strength requirements need to be documented in a traceable manner.

A certificate of origin is a trade policy document that certifies the country of origin of a product. It is frequently required for international shipments, customs procedures, or customer import requirements.

For CNC components ordered via InstaWerk as an online manufacturer, a certificate of origin from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) can be selected as additional documentation.

ith this option, the country of origin and the HS code or commodity code of all items on the invoice will be shown.

This supports customs and trade-related documentation, especially for cross-border deliveries or internal compliance processes.
